Atletico Liberal Futbol Club

Mission Statement–

The mission of the Atletico Liberal Futbol Club is to develop and operate a quality soccer program for our community. We will foster and promote sportsmanship, teamwork, fun and leadership while developing soccer skills through instruction and competitive play with Kansas Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer affiliated clubs.

We encourage our players to do their best, learn new skills, be a part of a team, make new friends, get lots of exercise and have fun. The most valuable skills our players learn are a positive attitude, self-confidence, respect and teamwork. Win or lose, if they can honestly say after each practice and after every game, “I have done my best”, then everyone has succeeded. With willing spirit and teamwork, we can accomplish any goal!

Four commitments are essential to our club:

Provide an opportunity for as many players as possible to play soccer
Facilitate training opportunities for adult volunteers to develop coaching and referee skills to keep our program viable. The referee program provides excellent income opportunities for youths and adults interested in earning some extra money.
Expect all players, coaches, referees and other volunteers to conduct themselves with integrity.
Our program exists to build skills across the different ages and development levels to help players achieve excellence when they participate in more advanced soccer programs.

What we Offer

Youth Traveling Team Program

We offer a competitive traveling team programs for boys and girls that will compete in tournaments/leagues in Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. The idea is for our youth players to get exposure to competitive play and develop into an all around soccer athletes.

Adult Team

ALFC adult team is a way for players to get exposure to semi-pro teams and gain the experience, development and create an opportunity to play at the next level in their soccer career.

Coaching Program

We offer excellent help in coaching education through Kansas State Youth Soccer Association and US Soccer Federation where you can obtain your certification through sanctioned coaching courses in 4v4, 7v7,9v9,and 11v11 online or in-person.

Referee Program

We offer a great way to learn the rules of soccer with our referee program through Kansas State Youth Soccer Association courses. The program is also a great way for high school students to earn community service or extra money. We also help provide referees for KSHSAA in the sport of soccer.
