Mission Statement–
At Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc., our mission is to develop and operate a high-quality soccer program that serves and strengthens our community. We strive to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and joy in the game while helping players build their skills through instruction and competitive play with Kansas Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer–affiliated clubs.
We encourage every player to give their best, embrace learning, and experience the excitement of being part of a team. Along the way, our athletes make new friends, stay active, and grow both on and off the field. The most valuable lessons they gain — a positive attitude, self-confidence, respect, and teamwork — reach far beyond soccer.
Win or lose, success comes when each player can proudly say, “I gave my best today.” With heart, dedication, and teamwork, we believe our players can accomplish anything — together as one Atlético family.
Four commitments are essential to our club:
- Provide opportunities for all. We aim to give as many players as possible the chance to experience the joy of soccer, regardless of skill level or background.
- Support and develop our volunteers. We offer training and education for adults who wish to become coaches or referees, helping them build valuable skills that keep our program thriving. Through our referee program, youth and adults can also gain meaningful experience and earn extra income.
- Promote integrity and respect. We expect every player, coach, referee, and volunteer to represent Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc with honesty, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the field.
- Encourage growth and excellence. Our program focuses on building skills at every age and development level, preparing players to succeed as they move on to more advanced levels of competitive soccer.
What we Offer
Youth Traveling Team Program
At Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc., we’re proud to offer competitive traveling team programs for boys and girls who are ready to take their game to the next level! Our teams compete in top tournaments and leagues across Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas, giving players the chance to challenge themselves, grow their skills, and experience the thrill of high-level soccer. Every game is a new opportunity to learn, compete, and build lasting memories as part of the Atlético family.
Youth Development League
At Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc., we’re passionate about building a strong foundation for the future of soccer in Southwest Kansas. Our Development League is designed to help young players smoothly transition from recreational play to competitive soccer in a supportive, fun, and skill-focused environment. Here, players learn the fundamentals, develop confidence, and experience what it means to be part of a team striving for excellence.
This league also provides valuable, real-world experience for coaches and referees who are growing in their roles — giving them the chance to learn, lead, and make an impact on the field. It’s more than just a league — it’s a community where passion, learning, and opportunity come together to inspire the next generation of players, coaches, and officials.
Coaching Program
At Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc., we believe great players start with great coaches. That’s why we provide outstanding opportunities for coaching development through the Kansas Youth Soccer Association and the U.S. Soccer Federation. Whether online or in-person, our certified courses in 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 give coaches the tools and credentials they need to lead with confidence. By joining our program, coaches not only build their skills but also become a vital part of shaping the next generation of soccer talent in Southwest Kansas.
Referee Program
At Atlético Liberal Fútbol Club Inc., we believe referees play a vital role in shaping the spirit of the game. Our referee program, offered through the Kansas Youth Soccer Association, gives participants the chance to learn the rules, build confidence, and develop leadership skills both on and off the field. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for high school students to earn community service hours or extra income while staying connected to the sport they love. Beyond our club, we’re proud to help provide trained referees for KSHSAA soccer events — empowering the next generation to lead with fairness, knowledge, and respect.
